Proposed Technology

Heat Turn Generators

Heat Turn Generators integrate thermal-energy storage, industrial heat pumps, heat-recovery systems and turbine technology to convert stored or recovered heat into usable electricity.

The system can collect heat from concentrated solar sources, industrial processes and waste-heat streams, store it for later use and release it when power is required. This supports more stable and controllable energy generation beyond periods of direct sunlight.

How It Works

  • Heat Collection –Captures thermal energy from concentrated solar heat, industrial operations and other recoverable heat sources.
  • Thermal Energy Storage – Stores collected heat in containerised sand-based or advanced thermal-storage systems for later use.
  • Heat Recovery and Upgrading – Uses heat exchangers, recuperators and industrial heat pumps to recover and raise heat to a useful operating temperature.
  • Power Generation – Transfers high-temperature heat into a turbine and generator system to produce electricity.
  • Energy Recirculation – Recovers exhaust heat and returns it to the operating cycle to improve overall energy utilisation.
