ENGINEERING SERVICE SOLUTION

Integrated Engineering, EPC & Infrastructure Delivery

Cheng Ho International provides coordinated engineering, procurement, construction and technical delivery services for infrastructure, utility and industrial projects.

OVERVIEW

Complete Project Delivery

Cheng Ho International provides Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning services for infrastructure, water, industrial and environmental projects. The project framework can begin with feasibility studies, surveys, concept development and Front-End Engineering Design before progressing to detailed civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, process and automation design. Procurement covers technical evaluation, vendor coordination, equipment packages, logistics and quality documentation. Construction and commissioning then coordinate site works, M&E installation, testing, operator training and final handover, with ongoing optimisation and maintenance support available after completion.

Engineering Design

Concept development, detailed engineering, BIM, and technical documentation tailored to project requirements.

Procurement

Strategic sourcing, vendor management, materials and equipment procurement with cost and quality control.

Construction

Safe, efficient construction management with experienced teams and rigorous quality assurance.

Commissioning

System testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning to ensure performance, reliability and regulatory compliance.

Operations Support

Operational readiness, maintenance planning, asset support and performance optimisation for long-term reliability.

Bailey Bridge Solutions

Rapid-deployment modular bridge systems for emergency access, temporary crossings and infrastructure support.

Bailey Bridge Solutions

Rapid Bridge Deployment Systems

Modular Bailey Bridges provide fast, adaptable crossing solutions for emergency response, disaster recovery, rural access, temporary construction routes, military logistics and selected permanent infrastructure. Prefabricated steel panels, transoms, stringers, decking and bracing components can be transported to site and assembled into different span and load configurations. Cheng Ho International’s proposed service can cover design, manufacturing, quality control, transportation, launching or crane installation, commissioning and technical support. Because components can be dismantled and reused, Bailey systems can also support temporary diversions and staged construction works.

Flood Mitigation & Water Resources Management

Flood Mitigation

Engineering Solutions for Flood-Risk Reduction

Our flood-mitigation services support the planning, design and delivery of infrastructure that helps control stormwater, reduce flood exposure and protect communities, assets and critical facilities.

Solutions are developed according to site conditions, catchment characteristics, rainfall intensity, drainage capacity and authority requirements.

Core Solutions

Drainage and Stormwater Systems

Design and upgrading of drainage channels, culverts, detention systems and stormwater networks to improve flow capacity and reduce localised flooding.

Retention and Detention Facilities

Development of ponds, storage tanks and temporary water-retention systems that help control peak discharge during heavy rainfall.

Pumping and Control Systems

Supply and integration of flood pumps, pump stations, control gates, sensors and monitoring systems for areas where gravity drainage is insufficient.

River and Channel Improvement

Upgrading, widening, deepening or stabilising waterways and drainage channels to improve conveyance and reduce overflow risk.

Flood Barriers and Protection Works

Engineering of flood walls, embankments, levees and protective structures for vulnerable sites and critical infrastructure.

Monitoring and Early-Warning Systems

Integration of water-level sensors, rainfall monitoring, SCADA and alert systems to support faster response during high-risk conditions.

Flood Mitigation & Water Resources Management

Water Resources Management

Smarter Planning for Reliable and Sustainable Water Use

Water-resources management involves the coordinated planning, development, protection and use of water resources for communities, agriculture, industry and the environment.

Our solutions help clients understand water availability, manage demand, protect water quality and reduce risks associated with floods, droughts and changing environmental conditions.

Core Capabilities

Water-Supply Planning

Assessment of water demand, available sources, storage requirements and distribution needs for current and future development.

Water Allocation and Demand Management

Planning the responsible use of water across domestic, agricultural, industrial and environmental requirements.

Water-Quality Management

Monitoring and management strategies that support safer water sources, healthier rivers and more reliable treatment performance.

Catchment and Watershed Management

Assessment of land use, runoff, erosion and pollution risks across river basins and water-catchment areas.

Flood and Drought Risk Management

Integrated planning to improve preparedness, storage capacity and system resilience during extreme weather conditions.

Data, Modelling and Decision Support

Use of hydraulic models, GIS, monitoring systems and Digital Twin technologies to support planning and operational decisions.

PB100 Bailey Bridge

Application: For pedestrian access with spans below 18 m.
Width: 1.3 m–1.5 m

HD100 Bailey Bridge

Application: For light vehicle loading and short spans below 60 m.
Width: 4 m, single lane

HD200 Bailey Bridge

Application: For heavy vehicle loading and short spans below 60 m.
Width: .2 m single lane, 7.35 m two lanes

Advanced Bailey Bridge

Application: For heavy loading and spans longer than 60 m.
Width: 4.2 m single lane, 7.35 m two lanes

Available Configurations

The source profile identifies 42-metre, 60-metre and 90-metre span configurations. These should be presented as reference configurations rather than fixed limits because the final arrangement depends on panel type, truss configuration, load class, deck width, abutment condition and installation method. Project-specific engineering must also assess river hydraulics, scour, approach roads, wind, corrosion protection, inspection access and the requirements of the approving authority.

Fast Installation

Modular components help reduce site assembly time.

Minimal Site Preparation

Designed to limit permanent works where site conditions allow.

High Load Capacity

Configurable for different traffic and equipment loads.

Reusable Components

Components can be dismantled, relocated and reused.

Integrated Services

Design, manufacturing, logistics, installation and support under one plan.

Applications

Suitable for emergency access, rural links, diversions and recovery works.
